So. I slept at 4/5 am on the day itself because I was freaking out that my voice couldn't reach the high notes. In the end, I barely slept and had to wake up at 6am. I got ready by 6.45 and wore my netball jersey. The thing is, I told my parents that I was going to a tournament. Stupid, really. I changed at Simei MRT and almost left my phone there. Thank god I remembered. I took the train at around 7.12? I can't really remember. There were some normal delays like those stoppings and weird tunnel rides so by the time I got there, Ceejay was already waiting. There were two other people there. Natalie and Rick. They were both from the 27th audition so I got some info as to how the auditions were before. We walked to the building which didn't really take that much time actually since we were busy talking. Pei Ling, Iris and.... another girl was already there. So I kinda had 3 different groups waiting for me (excluding Ceejay's group). In the end, I chose to stay with Ceejay and the group. Wasn't a bad choice actually. They were older, wiser so I was calmer than I thought I'll be. I was kinda supposed to meet my friends from last year that's why I went but in the end.... yea plan cancelled and I love making new friends at random so I went. Natalie was a great singer. IS a great singer. So was Ceejay and Rick. Ceejay's literally 10 years older than me otl. 26... he's like a big brother. And it was nice to have meet him. We practised a little before we went in. Well, they practised. I just practically sat by them being all smiley miley. Well, I am the magnae :D Rick and Natalie is 20. Unfortunately (but fortunately) for me, the boys were in separate groups from us. We heard them sing though since we were sitting by the side while their group had their go. Ceejay's voice was loud. REALLY loud like omg loud. It got stuck in my head for a few seconds. When it was our turn, I didn't really felt that nervous. It was fun actually. I sung...badly. I can't sing to save my life. But oh well. It was really fun and all four of us went to Vivo to eat after it was over. We had a long talk with one of the trainers but I was practically lost so I can't describe it. I felt really bad because there weren't much choices of outlet for their to pick since I need Halal food. They were nice to me though. I really appreciate it. Natalie paid for my food =.=" I felt so bad but so grateful at the same time. After we were done, we went to walk around bc we were too full. And lol those oldies chose to go to TOY R US. I'm pretty sure I'm not the magnae anymore as soon as we stepped in. LOL OMG. I only went home around 5.30 (?). Ceejay had to stay at habourfront to catch his bus home to KL at 8pm while the rest of us head to the MRT. Natalie and Rick took the circle line while I took the north east line. Blablabla. KEUT! Just a little note. Auditions are meant to give you life experience. If you take it too hard to your heart, in the end, you're the one that gets hurt. Calm down. Go with the flow and everything will work out eventually. |
